Late in the summer, on multiple days, I amused myself making Kruspe memes. But not just any Kruspe meme; they are memes about medium bell Kruspe horns. As they have become a research interest for me, starting with when I was able to purchase the post-war Kruspe that I initially described in this post:
I sometimes say to people that, when you compare horns, you realize that each one has certain strengths and weaknesses. This Kruspe, it has a great tone, smooth, and no intonation complaints. On the other hand, it’s not very powerful in the low range and the valve lever positions don’t fit my left hand that well. But it’s all promising enough to explore further, and, who knows, maybe these memes will nudge someone else to think outside the box and consider a medium bell Kruspe?
